Innovated to counter the full range of CBRNE threats and hazards in today’s ever-changing and highly volatile operational environment, the CBRNE team develops proprietary and cutting-edge technologies to buttress Singapore’s border security operations as the first line of defence against the entry of threats, whether it is a civilian or terrorist threat in nature.
Our team of dedicated operational experts work closely and tirelessly with the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) round-the-clock to detect and intercept unsuspecting threats at our network of laboratories located at the borders of Singapore. These checkpoint laboratories also provide support on CBRNE-related investigations, as well as intel, for the respective Singapore Police Force Land Divisions based on their area of responsibility.
To be future-ready, we are setting up a new laboratory at Changi Airfreight Centre to support ICA’s Changi Airport and Air Cargo checkpoints. The future Tuas Mega Port and Changi Airport T5 will also be bolstered by CBRNE capabilities.
