From the bustling Orchard Road shopping belt to Haw Par Villa theme park close to a CBRNE lab to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, 700 Xponents gathered in teams at various locations to walk to the finishing point at HTX headquarters for the HTX Annual Walk & Run flag off event.
The event, held on 1 December to coincide with HTX’s third anniversary, was the finale of a series of celebratory activities that included the HTX Open House as part of TechXplore 4 on 30 November.

“The Annual Walk & Run was a fun and healthy event to bring everyone together as well as celebrate HTX’s third anniversary,” said Dr. Jonathan Pan, Chief (Disruptive Technologies Office), who is also Chairman of HTX’s Healthy Lifestyle Committee.
“It was a great way for us to explore and learn more about Singapore as we walked through areas that I had not been to before,” said Yang Chiew Yung, Senior Principal Forensic Scientist, Forensics Centre of Expertise. “It was especially meaningful that Xponents started at various locations and made our way to HTX headquarters, just like how we work together to solve challenges.”
