HTX officers – or Xponents as we call ourselves – got to “Ask Minister Anything” during a special dialogue with Minister for Home Affairs K Shanmugam on July 1.
Over 1,000 Xponents attended the special eXpresso! or HTX townhall that was held in-person at the HTX headquarters and virtually.
Minister said that HTX is an important partner of the Home Team Departments (HTDs) and plays a critical role in the success of HTDs’ operations.
It was a candid session with Minister also responding to questions close to Xponents’ hearts, such as one about which football club he felt HTX most resembled. Drawing on the analogy of the Dutch national team in the 1970s that played “total football”, Minister said the Dutch team broke the mould, and played sexy and inventive football that inspired generations. “Hopefully, HTX will remake the idea of how the Home Team operates.”
