HTX deepened its collaborative ties with Civipol, a key international partner, on 13 Feb 2025 with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at HTX’s headquarters in Singapore.
According to the MoU, the two sides, which co-organised last year’s Milipol Asia Pacific – TechX Summit (MAP-TXS), will rebrand the event as Milipol TechX Summit (MTX). The MoU will also see both sides jointly hold the biannual event in 2026 and beyond.
Civipol is the technical implementer for international cooperation of the French Ministry of Interior (MOI) and the manager of the international network of Milipol events.
“Last year’s inaugural MAP-TXS co-organised by HTX and Civipol exceeded all expectations, with participation of close to 12,000 trade visitors for the MAP Exhibition and 2,500 delegates for the TXS Conference, spanning 75 countries. This smashed previous editions’ attendance records and, in the process, generated dialogue, cross-fertilised ideas, and fostered collaboration,” said HTX Chief Executive Chan Tsan.
“The success of this platform we’ve created together is a testament to shared values and the strong partnership that has grown over the years between the two organisations. Milipol TechX Summit will further strengthen Singapore-France relations and catalyse collaboration in the international homeland security space,” he added.
Préfet Yann Jounot, CEO of Civipol and President of the Milipol Network, shared, “In 2024 we made the case that we were stronger together. In 2026 we will continue to work together to make Milipol TechX Summit an international must-see event where technological innovation serves homeland security. We want to make this event a technological lighthouse.”
The new MoU supersedes the original 2022 MoU where HTX and Civipol agreed to co-organise MAP-TXS. Under the new MoU, HTX and Civipol will co-organise Milipol TechX Summit as “a platform with a high technological footprint for industries to showcase their homeland security innovations and solutions” and “bring together like-minded agencies and individuals to engage, share experiences and collaborate on solutions for homeland security challenges”.
Milipol TechX Summit 2026 will be held from 28-30 April 2026 at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Singapore.
