xDigital architects and drives the digital transformation of HTX. From the strategic planning of our digitalisation roadmap, the acquisition of new digital solutions, to the in-house development of artificial intelligence (AI) products, our key mission is to digitally reimagine and transform experiences at work.

Our Impact

To enable a digitally empowered workforce, the team has launched a powerful AI assistant to boost staff’s individual productivity and brought in smart lockers for the efficient issuance of corporate items. An organisation-wide platform, HT-GoMobile, which is now in every staff’s personal mobile device, will promote work collaboration and provide tools for low-code application development and automation. Several AI products are under development to be rolled out to HTX and the wider Home Team.

Strategy & Transformation Team

Strategy & Plans: We focus on architecting and driving the organisation's digitalisation strategy. This involves coordinating the Digitalisation Working Committee (DWC) with stakeholders to manage various workstreams and monitor progress against established benchmarks.

Community & Engagement: We focus on raising awareness and boosting adoption of digital tools and skills. This includes building and enabling a digital community through fun and engaging campaigns, product launches, competitions, and gamification initiatives.

Transformation: We aim to develop digital skills and promote the use of whole-of-government (WOG) and HTX tools. It also involves co-creating apps and solutions, as well as developing and training a pool of Digital Champions skilled in digital and AI tools.

Digitalisation Implementation Team

Solution Specialists: We perform market sensing on digital solutions and assess their integration potential within the organisation’s ecosystem of existing solutions. We experiment and run trials on potential solutions and technical specifications to ensure feasibility and alignment with organisation goals.

Implementation: We engage with vendors and partners to assess the feasibility of solutions, execute the acquisition process, and implement the products within HTX. This ensures that the solutions are tailored to meet user needs and are effectively integrated into existing infrastructure.

Performance & Optimisation: We monitor new product features for continuous improvement and ensure product optimisation. We also perform technology refreshes based on changes to user requirements.

AI Products Team

The AI Products team approaches digital transformation through the development of products that enhance user experiences. We go through a holistic process that incorporates design thinking, user journey mapping, pain point identification, and user persona development; and build products that not only eliminate pain points but also elevate current experiences.

Some examples of experiences the team is improving include the Acquisition Experience (improving procurement efficiency) and the Information Discovery Experience (improving information dissemination and search).
