The Digital Services Programme Management Centre (DSPMC) supports the Home Team by delivering secure, usable, and accessible digital services that better meet the needs of citizens and businesses.

We improve usability by leveraging user research and a product-centric approach. For instance, when developing the new version of the Singapore Civil Defence Force’s (SCDF’s) myResponder mobile app, we undertook CPR/AED training to gain better first-hand appreciation of the needs of first responders, and gathered key user insights from first responders and SCDF operators to enhance the earlier version of the app. We also embraced continuous feedback and delivered regular enhancements to the launched app.

We support the business transformation of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and Home Team Departments (HTDs) through innovation, systems thinking, and experimentation. One highlight is the iterative approach, which initially involved the use of Google Forms and citizen surveys at Traffic Police HQ, and which resulted in the use of FormSG for the Traffic Police’s Mock Theory Test.
