Planning & Governance

• We set the strategic direction and ensure alignment with organisational goals, compliance with policies, and adherence to best practices.
  
• We oversee governance frameworks, standards, and processes to maintain accountability and efficiency across all in-house software development initiatives.
  
• We are responsible for broader stakeholder engagement and work with leadership, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional teams to secure buy-in and facilitate coordination.
  
• We ensure the governance structure remains adaptive to changing business needs and technological advancements while promoting continuous improvement.
  
• We collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to ensure that development efforts align with the defined governance and compliance standards.
  

Product Management

• We oversee the development and delivery of in-house product and software development services.
  
• We define product roadmaps, prioritise development efforts, and ensure that solutions meet business needs and user requirements.
  
• We provide direction on scope, timelines, and resource allocation to drive effective software delivery.
  
• We serve as the main interface with users and stakeholders in gathering requirements, refining product strategies, and ensuring that implementations align with organisation objectives.
  
• We collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure technical feasibility, scalability, and quality assurance.
  
• We are responsible for post-implementation monitoring, incorporating user feedback, and driving continuous improvements to enhance product or service effectiveness.
  

Engineering 

• We develop technology strategies to support the development, integration, and maintenance of in-house software solutions.
  
• We focus on software architecture, frontend and backend development, user experience, data management, and quality assurance.
  
• We design software solutions that are robust, scalable, and aligned with security and compliance requirements.
  
• We support Product Management in implementing technical solutions that meet business objectives.
  
• We optimise development processes and ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
  
• We play a crucial role in post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and enhancements, ensuring long-term sustainability and performance of in-house-developed solutions.
